Terms and conditions.
These terms govern your use of searchandcounsel.com and the Client Zone we operate at this address. By accessing or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Effective 3 May 2026
1. Operator
The site is operated by Feltan Associates Pte Ltd (UEN 202225620G), a private limited company registered in Singapore, trading under the names Search & Counsel and Chartered Partners Search & Counsel.
References to “Search & Counsel”, “we”, “our” or “us” mean Feltan Associates Pte Ltd acting under those brands.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen years of age to use this site or to register an interest in any opportunity through it.
By using the site you confirm that:
- you are at least eighteen years old;
- you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- any information you provide is accurate and truthful; and
- you are not subject to any restriction (for example, an existing obligation of confidentiality or non-solicitation) that would make your contact with us unlawful.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where these conditions are not met.
3. What this site does
searchandcounsel.com is the public-facing website of Search & Counsel. It exists to:
- describe our retained executive search work for investigations, disputes, regulatory and intelligence professionals;
- allow prospective clients to brief us via secure contact and request-a-search forms;
- allow practitioners to register an interest in standing role archetypes through the Manatal-hosted careers portal we link to;
- host the Search & Counsel Client Zone for invited clients to access live mandate updates, candidate documents and team information.
4. We are an employment agency
Feltan Associates Pte Ltd is licensed by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower as an employment agency under EA Licence 23S1672. Our retained executive search work is carried out under that licence and in accordance with the Employment Agencies Act and the Employment Agencies Rules. We comply with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices and equivalent standards in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
The introduction of any candidate to any client, and the conduct of any search mandate, is governed by a separate written engagement letter and not by these website terms.
5. Permitted use
You may browse this site, use the contact and search-request forms, register an interest in opportunities through the Manatal-hosted portal we link to, and access the Client Zone if you have been invited. You must not:
- use the site or any content on it for any unlawful purpose, or for any purpose harmful to us or to any third party;
- scrape, harvest, copy in bulk or otherwise systematically extract content from the site, or use any automated means to access the site, except as expressly authorised by us in writing;
- reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the site;
- attempt to interfere with the security or normal operation of the site, or with any person's enjoyment of it;
- submit information that you know or ought reasonably to know is false, misleading, defamatory, infringing or otherwise unlawful; or
- use the site to circumvent the confidentiality obligations of any current or former employer or principal.
6. Opportunities and registrations of interest
The opportunities listed in our catalogue at /careers/ are standing role archetypes that reflect the kinds of senior mandates we are typically asked to run. They are not advertisements for live, immediately-available vacancies. Live mandates are run confidentially and are not advertised.
When you click “Register your interest” on a catalogue listing you are taken to a Manatal-hosted page on searchandcounsel.careers-page.com, where you may submit your details. Registration of interest does not constitute:
- an offer of employment;
- an offer of representation by Search & Counsel;
- a guarantee that you will be approached, shortlisted or introduced to any client; or
- an entitlement to a fee or any other consideration if you are subsequently engaged by a client by other means.
Approaches and introductions are made at our discretion in the context of specific live mandates and in accordance with our duties to clients.
7. Client Zone
The Search & Counsel Client Zone is provided to invited clients for the duration of their mandate and reasonable wind-down period. Access credentials are personal to the named recipient and must not be shared. Documents made available in the Client Zone are confidential to the engagement and may not be reproduced, redistributed or used for any purpose other than the mandate without our prior written consent.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, images, graphics, logos and the Search & Counsel name and brand, is owned by Feltan Associates Pte Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or internal business reference. Any other use, including republication, redistribution, modification or commercial exploitation, requires our prior written consent.
9. Confidentiality of mandates
We treat as strictly confidential the existence and content of any mandate, the identity of the client, the identity of any candidate we are considering, and any information shared with us in confidence by clients, candidates or referees. Confidentiality obligations under our engagement letters and applicable professional standards prevail over anything on this website.
10. Information on the site
Content on this site is provided for general information about our executive search work. It is not legal, financial, regulatory, career or investment advice and must not be relied on as such. Any specific question should be discussed with us directly under a written engagement.
11. Third-party services
The Manatal-hosted opportunities portal and any other third-party tools we link to operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites, but we choose our service providers carefully and require appropriate data protection commitments from each.
12. Site availability
We aim to keep the site available and the content up to date but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that all content is current, complete or free from errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feltan Associates Pte Ltd and its officers, employees, agents and affiliates exclude all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss or damage, or any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of this site or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Feltan Associates Pte Ltd against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.
15. Termination of access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the site or to the Client Zone where:
- these terms are breached;
- misuse of the site or its features is detected;
- fraudulent or unlawful activity is suspected; or
- the related mandate has concluded and any reasonable wind-down period has elapsed.
Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect the integrity of the site, the safety of users, or the confidentiality of any mandate.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, and its effective date, will always appear on this page. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising under or in connection with these terms.
18. How to contact us
Questions about these terms should be sent to ama@searchandcounsel.com or by post to our registered office shown below.
